For data owners
Control who accesses your DPP data
RVRC Hub gives DPP-owning organisations full control over which DPPs are registered, what metadata is visible, who can request access and how requests are approved.
Why participate
RVRC Hub gives data owners structured, governed participation in DPP discovery
Visibility and discovery
Register your DPPs in a structured metadata registry so that authenticated industry partners can discover your products for remanufacture, repair, reuse and recycling.
Full access control
You decide who can access restricted data. Every access request is reviewed by your team. Grants are time-limited and revocable at any time.
Complete audit trail
Every request, approval, rejection, grant and data fetch is recorded in an append-only audit log. You always know who accessed what and when.
Dual notification
Access requests appear both in RVRC Hub and in your provider dashboard. You never miss a request, regardless of which interface you use day-to-day.
How participation works
From company connection to access approval
Company connection
Your organisation establishes a company connection with RVRC Hub through your DPP provider. This is the explicit consent gate that enables DPP registration. Without an active connection, no DPPs are registered.
Publication policy
You define which DPPs are in scope for RVRC registration through a publication policy. The policy can be scoped by programme, product class, template or other criteria. Only matching DPPs are registered.
Metadata approval
Your provider pushes only metadata approved for RVRC discovery. Search payloads are validated before indexing to ensure they contain no restricted values. You control what metadata is visible.
Access request review
When a user requests access to restricted variables on your DPPs, you receive a notification in both RVRC Hub and your provider dashboard. You can approve, approve with modifications or reject.
You remain in control
RVRC Hub does not grant access without your explicit approval
DPPs are only registered when your company connection is active and the DPP matches your publication policy.
You can approve access requests with modifications — reducing variables, lowering security levels or shortening validity.
Grants can be revoked at any time by your company administrators.
You can suspend or withdraw DPPs from RVRC discovery at any point.
Metadata visibility is controlled through publication policy and discovery settings.
Full audit visibility
Every governance action on RVRC Hub is recorded in an append-only audit log with hash-chain integrity. As a data owner, you have full visibility into:
- Who requested access to your DPPs and when
- What variables and security levels were requested
- Who approved or rejected requests, with timestamps
- Which grants are active, expiring or have been revoked
- Every data fetch event against your DPPs
- All changes to company connection and publication policy
Provider compatibility
RVRC Hub is provider-neutral by design
Stage 1: Made2Verify
The Stage 1 reference DPP provider is Made2Verify. If your organisation uses Made2Verify, your DPPs can be registered with RVRC Hub through the company connection mechanism. Access requests appear in both RVRC Hub and your Made2Verify dashboard.
Stage 2 and beyond
The RVRC Hub architecture is designed to support multiple DPP providers. Future stages may integrate Asset Administration Shell (AAS) nodes, additional DPP platforms and Odoo-connected deployments. The provider specification is open and extensible.
Register your organisation
Start by applying for a company account on RVRC Hub. Your organisation will be reviewed by the NMIS team before participation begins.
